ANYLINK V1

A direct link. A real connection.

Connect with a shared address, or publish your own. Verify the handshake and exchange a small text test.

Connect to a peer

Connection role

An AnyLink address contains a secret. Share it only with the intended peer.

Handshake status

Not connected

Success is shown only after both handshakes complete. No-password mode does not authenticate a user's identity.

ICE servers come from discovery. Browser candidates are collected for up to 5 seconds, or until gathering completes. Later candidates are not sent.

Text exchange is optional. It requires another copy of this page, or the AnyLink CLI text test. Other peers can still complete the handshake.

Text exchange test

UTF-8 text, up to 64 KiB per test, with a 15-second deadline. Incoming tests are echoed. No file transfer or remote execution.

Only the latest 20 entries are kept in page memory; long previews are truncated. Navigating away clears the session and history.

Unknown / not available

Missing selected-pair statistics are shown as unknown, never assumed to be P2P.

Timeline: seconds since start, up to 200 events. No addresses, SDP, text contents, passwords, or TURN credentials are recorded.

A secure context with WebRTC, Web Crypto and actual DTLS certificate APIs is required. Embedded browsers may restrict WebRTC; open in your system browser if needed.
